Hundreds of Henderson County Student Athletes Receive Free Sports Physicial (June 6, 2010)

Hendersonville Sports Medicine in conjunction with Park Ridge Hospital, Park Ridge Medical Associates and Southeastern Sports Medicine provided free sports physicals for a total of 927 student athletes recently at the Hendersonville Sports Medicine facility in Downtown Hendersonville. Student athletes representing East Henderson High, North Henderson High, West Henderson High, Hendersonville High School, Flat Rock Middle, Apple Valley Middle, Rugby Middle and Hendersonville Middle attended. Each participant received a free T-shirt.

 

Richard Jones, M.D., to Host Surgical Skills Session at Duke Medical Center (March 9, 2010)

Richard Jones, M.D., board-certified orthopedic surgeon with Southeastern Sports Medicine, will lead a special surgical skills lab session at Duke University Medical Center on March 19. Dr. Jones will present his expertise on the Reverse Shoulder procedure, along with additional shoulder surgical implant measures.
