Dr. Richard Jones Presents at the 23rd Congress of the European Society for Surgery of the Shoulder and Elbow (September 28, 2011)
Hendersonville, N.C. (September 28, 2011) —Richard Jones, M.D., board-certified orthopedic surgeon with Southeastern Sports Medicine recently served as a featured faculty member at the 23rd Congress of the European Society for Surgery of the Shoulder and Elbow in Lyon, France.
The three-day congress offered orthopedic surgeons and other medical professionals from all over Europe the opportunity to learn about the newest advances in shoulder surgery, replacement and rehabilitation.
Dr. Jones received his medical degree from East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C., and completed his orthopedic residency at the Campbell Clinic in Memphis, Tenn. He also completed a one-year sports medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Jones has instructed numerous national and international courses for the educational development of other orthopedic surgeons.
