Keith M. Maxwell, MD
Dr. Keith Maxwell has been practicing in the Asheville, NC area for over 17 years. Dr. Maxwell graduated from UNCA and completed medical school at Oral Roberts University. After finishing his residency at Georgia Baptist Medical Center, which included work with the team physician for the Atlanta Falcons of the NFL, he returned to this area to practice medicine. Dr. Maxwell's specialties are Orthopaedic Spine disorders, Spine Surgery, General Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.
Dr. Maxwell is board certified in Orthopaedic and spine and he is also the first board certified spine surgeon in North Carolina. He is an Assistant Consultant Professor of Surgery at Duke University Medical Center and he is Chief of Surgery at Park Ridge Hospital. He is also an NCAA Basketball Referee.
